It's going to be very difficult for any Lebron trade to happen. He has a no-trade clause, and any team that trades for him will have to gut their roster to get the salary match. If the season doesn't go as planned, he will get a buyout, but otherwise he's a Laker for this final season of his...
It's a standard process that happens every year. Listened about it on multiple NBA podcasts (Hoop Collective, Zach Lowe show, Stein Line substack). Both things can be true at once. Draft analysts have intel and are projecting where a player will be drafted. The players and their agents are...
Agreed, all of the recent announcements about players returning to college are because they didn't get a first round guarantee from any team. Each year a guy like Los or Oweh comes back means they have to take even a larger leap in their play, because they're now competing against the players...
If it is rigged, why would it be rigged for Dallas?
If you play this hypothetical out, Silver called Dallas and told them to trade Luka to his biggest market in exchange for Cooper Flagg. If that's the case, there was one big domino that had to fall for Dallas to even get into the lottery -...
The NBA went to flattened lottery odds back in 2019/2020 to discourage tanking. That measure is working. Teams like the Jazz/Wizards who basically gave up on the season after the pre-season shouldn't be rewarded for that. The worst record in the league only has a 14% chance of getting the No.1...
Yup..He will most likely redshirt, but at the same time, he will learn from two guards of similar size who have also become successful college players in Brown and Pack.
Didn't watch him that much at Bama, but the per 40 minutes/per 100 possession numbers are basically the same. His foul rate is a little lower. I think he improved a little during the season, but it is a lot different when you are playing starter minutes. Teams will have film on him, and can play...
Yep, it is a good incoming class, but this coaching staff needs to get some level of internal improvement from Wague that other coaches haven't been able to get out of him. At this point, I'm afraid he is who he is.
True, I guess I consider Buddy a guard, same with Reaves. We haven't really put a long, athletic 3/4 hybrid in the league. Osby had a chance, but didn't make it is the closest I can remember.
One factor that should help in recruiting Reid is having Josh Oppenheimer on staff. He played a major role in turning Giannis into a complete scorer and improving his shooting. Reid isn't Giannis, but needs to improve in similar areas - playing on the perimeter, shooting, dribbling/handles.
