I’m curious how Chavez fits as well. Does she take a lot of shots that aren’t in the flow of the offense or does she let the game come to her?

I think this will be a big weekend for us. Trae Young is in town. I bet we have several big visitors at least.

She’s the type of player needed to replace Beers. I hope we can land her and not be the runner up like we have been known to be for some top level centers.

I think we are using the term elite a little loosely here. I don’t care where we get our recruits from as long as they help us compete at the highest level. We didn’t offer her until late. I think there are similar level of talent players widely available.

She chose Arkansas. Good for her! Don’t think she’s the level of player we need to compete at the top of the SEC but wish her the best of luck at Arkansas!

I’m not blown away by her offer list. Won’t be too upset if we don’t land her.

Part of the reason we may be looking at more foreign players is that due to the types of visa they come here with to go to school, it generally prevents them from being able to accept NIL money.

I would be interested to see who else was interested in her. Based on her numbers I’m not hopeful of a big impact. The Irish player Texas just signed was being recruited by Notre Dame and Duke.

One article I read said Tolan is a 2026 recruit. Additionally, OU WBB social media posted an image of our freshmen’s first day and it didn’t include her.

Most college teams scrimmage and practice against a practice squad of men.

She was never offered by any legitimate top 25 teams. Not the type of player to help us compete in the SEC is my assumption.
