Our fan support for b-ball sucks and really always has. Yeah, when Billy was in his hay days...we could draw some good crowds, and some of Kelvin's seasons has decent attendance, and Lon's FF team I guess, but for the most part, we simply have pathetic support. I can see it if we were going...
Totally agree. We are very fortunate to have him. IF X can play like he did Saturday…or even like he did earlier in the season, our backcourt (albeit small) will make us a tough out, assuming our defense is existent. Pack has been outstanding.
I already said he's a good coach and I'd take him over PM. You just want to argue. 10X the coach?? Nah. A coach that good wouldn't have sucked so bad his first 4 years on his current job. Plus he hasn't been to a final four yet either. But again, would I trade for him?? Sure.
Regardless, it's all about wins and losses...period. Has Nebraska historically been as good as OU in b-ball? No. But in this day and age, that doesn't mean near as much. What big advantage does OU have over Nebraska in the current b-ball environment? Our fan support is terrible. Our arena is...
Do you know what his coaching record is at Nebraska? His record is 95-108 in 6+ years at Nebraska. He's made ONE NCAA tourney during those 6 full seasons. Don't get me wrong, I do think he's a good coach, but it's interesting to hear many on here whining about Moser's time here at OU..yet...
Nice win, coming off a horrible performance. It's amazing what happens when you can actually make some shots and out rebound your opponent. Looks like we'll be 10-3 in the non-con, with really just one questionable loss (ASU). The Nebraska loss doesn't look near as bad currently, with them being...
If we shoot 28% like we did in the first half, I fully expect to lose all those games. I hear what every is saying about Porter and his time here, but at the end of the day, players have to make shots. We missed WIDE OPEN shots the whole 1st half. Many of them from guys who have shot well this...
Only 1 of those guys is in their top 7. And he was their 4th leading scorer. Not a reason to lose by 35 at home. Ike and Huff dominated them. At least we out scored them in the 2nd half! 😂. Something is off in Lexington. 5-4 with zero quality wins.
I watched the ASU/UT game. They won that game despite getting out rebounded by 12, and only having 4 assists. The ESPN indicator has us at 84% winning that game. I don’t know about that…we will have to play well to win.
Yeah, it's silly to try and put a label on a team so early in the season and say they are going to play the same way all season...after only playing 4-5 games. Teams change sooo much from Nov to February. I think many of us expected to play much better early on, maybe due to the results of those...
If we hadn’t gotten Fears late in the game last year..I feel Duke would have put up much higher numbers than he did. He’s a good player, but just got overshadowed after Fears took over the team.
