JoeC is great at going after flashy hires, its the aftermath he takes a dump on. So he can probably land McCollum if he wants him. Then he will think the problem is solved and go back to golfing, or whatever it is he does during “work hours”.

We have had examples of how anything is not better. Gibbs -> Schnellenburger -> -Blake. Or Nebraska. Doesn’t always work out well. If Joe C is still minding the ship I will expect another failure.

I’m going to stick with a minor miracle and 12-6. Our real weakness is inside and we’ve already played (and beaten) the teams who have insane size on our schedule. Feels like we should have a much happier March this year.

Since my prediction of 13-0 was so good, I’ll give the team a new years gift of 12-6 in conference, 25-6 before SEC tourney. :)

Its a pro sport now, so I would be happy to watch Ace or Mookie play for OU six or eight years (for example). 60 yr olds can go back to school so don’t see a problem with the coming change for sports. Might actually raise the talent overall significantly over time through retention.

I remember that Missouri game and back to back #1’s, the UNLV games, so many fun times during Tubbs era … for some reason LNC felt much louder than under Sampson and later coaches. Standing room only for the big games. Could also be that I “grew up” with Tubbs 85-90 teams and going to games with...

It’s Christmas time .. so going with happy times and 2-0 as a gift to the fans.. go into the SEC 13-0 having legitimately surprised everyone. Huge test, but feel like the team can actually pull that off this year.

If BV gets five years with the seasons we have had PM will be here long enough to figure out how to get to the NCAAs consistently. However long that will be.
