LNC was an awesome venue when full (80’s, 2000’s, when we won a lot, etc.). but hard to fill for any cupcakes in any year. If we didn’t need a HOF coach to win here, why have only HOF candidates or inductees been successful?

The team will go on a win streak, get to the SEC title game then get in on the play in, make the sweet sixteen and make it really hard to fire him. Book it, the universe likes to do this to us. Lol.

We also need to stop being last in NIL in whatever conference we are in. Otherwise we need HOF coaches hired to actually compete.

If our bball program is really the sisters of the poor jv program rn then it makes sense why the JoeC would wait until the ill advised extension runs out. The new guy probably wants an offseason to fire him instead of landing and immediately yeeting Moser off the cliff.

Everyone eventually gets promoted to their level of incompetence. Unfortunately we seem to have been Moser’s last move up. He was good at Loyola, should have stayed and built it .. but the temptation was too much.

Apathy in regards to supporting them, wrt to how long they were given. From the outside he seems to have basically acted like his job was done once the hire was finished. I.e., a complete noob at actually managing any org of any size.

JoeC is going to retire, job done well .. of destroying the mens program through apathy. We are lucky his one great FB hire found the rest of our coaches for him or he’d have ruined that as well (nearly did once nil was in play).

You can win here, win championships even .. but we need an AD who gives a sh** about “not football”. We have an opportunity for that coming up, hopefully we get it. If not, yeah .. Lons last years were almost as bad, sans blowouts .. but definitely lots of “barely into the tournament” and worse.
