I think Mingo would help us but id much rather have a good big than add another guard. We can find serviceable guards in a lot of places. You cannot find good bigs growing on trees. We already have X.....we can find him a running mate. There are a lot of those.

Fair enough. For me, our biggest problem has been lack of bigs. I love the athleticism that Rooths brings. I think he'll be better with more PT. I thought Rogers looked good at times....thought he was solid in the Crown. That said, id love to see them spend NIL $$ to get another big, active...

Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer a higher %....but the average for college is in the 33-36% range. Anything abve 30% is definitely serviceable. I agree you have to surround a guy like that with some shooters.

I think, if you can inch that average up to 30-33% (which isn't a drastic change) and make it serviceable then you have something. He's never going to be a sniper but the rest of his game is solid. Jeremiah Fears shot 28% from 3 but I dont think you'd find a single fan that wouldn't have taken...

That was my point. We are at the point on the board where we complain so much about everything that we'll nitpick a 5-star guard who is rated consensus top 10 because of his potential flaws. One we dont even have yet (probably WON'T get) and bash true FR who we are too impatient to let develop...

Only here are we gonna read 10 pages of complaints about top 50 (heck, top 10) ranked guys we could POTENTIALLY get. Heck, we aren't even patient enough to see if a true freshman can make a jump in year two before we label him a bust.
