I tinker with lineups early in the year too. I want to see which guys can handle bigger roles and which ones can't. See which groups seem to work best together. Sometimes it takes a little longer than others. On the flip side I'm not getting millions to figure mine out. Lol

I never said coaches don't make mistakes. Noone is perfect. Lord knows, as a person AND a coach, I've made more than my fair share. I just have issues with guys coming on a public forum and stating their opinion as fact and talking about a coach being stupid for not playing player X, Y or Z...

The most qualified person to decide who is playing and how much they play is 100% the head coach and his staff. As fans we think we know better because of snippets we see on game days. This board isn't the only fan board that b#tches about decisions the coach makes...there are a lot of guys...

The roster for next year, on paper,looks much better than last. Added length and athleticism for sure. I'm very excited about the potential. If we add Payne to the mix that will increase the depth and add some athletic size. I like it

Watching video Payne looks a little more coordinated than Wague...and a little more aggressive. But they do play a little similar.

It may not be the right thing to do but it happens ALLLLLLLLLL the time. They tell kids what they want to hear. Very common. I think it is sleepy but alot of these dudes are snake oil salesmen.
