That about sums up my thoughts on Moser. I dont always like his rotations but I say that about most coaches. There is almost no one I wouldnt rather have in the last 5 minutes of a close game than Moser.

What kind of coach are we going to attract with no NIL budget? Not a good one.

Like I said in the other thread, upping the payroll now and waiting on a buyout makes sense if we have to choose between the two. There is not infinite money to go around.

Guys, settle down. No one is in here saying Moser is an amazing coach. But if we have to choose between a buyout or more NIL money Ill take NIL money for this year. Why change coaches and still not spend enough on the team?

And no depth beyond the starting 5. Which definitely cost us mid season. The starting 5 was very good by February.

Honestly we are better than Missouri and Auburn and they have both been listed as in recently. So why not I guess.

I thought it was slightly worse as well. Still pretty abysmal. Thats 50 games. If he won a few more of those we wouldnt be having this thread.

I did a quick glance of Porter Mosers record at OU. He is 21-29 in games decided by 5 points or less. Is that good? lol

If we win our next 6 games we might make it in. The players are capable of this, but I dont think the coach is.

Hard to argue this given the lack of results under Porter and the terrible arena.

I think Moser is a good dude. He tries and obviously wants to win. My evaluation of him is that his teams do not improve. Every year they look exactly the same on Nov 10 and March 1. That is the sign of a mediocre to bad coach. Its time to move on.

Pack can do a lot more than just shoot 3s. He just a good college basketball player.
