That's a long and impressive list of quality programs whose coaches who must not read this board.

If that same kid, at 19 or 20, changed jobs and schools every year for four or five years running--or even two or three times over a five-year span--I'd question the wisdom of his choices. That's what I posted about: young athletes who end up at three, four or even five different schools during...

I didn't blame the players, but I think the entire situation is lamentable. That said... no, I wouldn't want to change jobs every years to obtain a raise. That sounds to me like an awful way to live. And as with many posts defending the players, you focused entirely on money. I was talking...

    Transfer Portal 2025

All these players who should, by all rights, be perfectly happy where there are (there are exceptions, of course) being convinced by "agents," family and/or friends (or their own misguided conviction that surely the grass is greener out there, right?) chasing bags year after year, establishing...

TRAE!!!- Announced as Asst GM- Donation

Hopefully Jeremiah feels the same way about OU. He didn't grow up an OU fan, but he seems to really appreciate the way Moser coached him through his one season and I hope that translates into ongoing warm feelings about OU.

Do we have to keep repeating that he led the country in assists? Imagine if our other guys had been able to convert those dimes at a better rate.

I'm confident in saying it's a much better list than Duke's detractors on this board would have predicted. Not that I expect many of them to cop to it.

Good for Elijah. Looks like he's been putting in the work.

Fears & the NBA Draft Projections

I never held out any hope he'd return, but man, it would have been nice.

    Transfer Portal 2025

So I've been told ad nauseam. But is it? Even if you're just making $10k in NIL (I'm making up numbers here), if someone offers you $20k, you're going to be tempted to make the move. I've never made big bucks. If someone offered me a job that paid $100K, I'd be thrilled, while many people would...

    Transfer Portal 2025

I began by saying I'm sorry to see Miles go. I'm also sorry to see Scott go. But it's a very different situation. Baranczyk is bringing the top talent in the country at that position. Jenny's also had a team loaded with talent for four straight seasons with almost no players transferring out...

I didn't say it was Moser's choice. I said I'm not particularly confident that he'll be able to find someone better than Miles. He has not proven to any kind of portal wizard, I think it's fair to say, and he has struggled from the day he set foot in Norman to retain players, even before NIL was...

I'm not moving the goal posts a bit. Moser's been terrible at retaining talent from the jump and I've commented on it all along. And yes, we had a solid season and Miles played a role in that. So I'd like to see him stay. What's so hard to understand?

    Transfer Portal 2025

I didn't bemoan the departure of Cole, Yaya or Northweather, but Miles contributed to the team's success this year, and I've not seen any evidence yet of Moser being able to consistently improve on departing talent. I might ask, what makes you so sure Moser will find someone better? That, to me...

I'm with you. When I see people dismissing him, I have to wonder if they watched the same games I did. I'm very sorry to see him go.
