I agree they don’t watch every game. I would consider the eye test to include that a team let’s say won 8 of last 10 in a major conference, It would probably have some effect. Not the complete emphasis, but some consideration.

I think change is needed and want a new coach next year. I can see players not caring if they are in the portal, but high schoolers may care. But point taken.

If contract is up in 2027, do you really want any head coach not under contract for the next year? I think he should not be back next year, and solves my concerns right then.

I was under impression from this board his co tract was up in April of 2027. If 2028, then definitely not needing to consider it.
