Great to finally see Danny Stutsman off the board early in Round 4 (Saints). I thought he would go mid-late Round 3, but I'm far from an expert at this. I did see Billy Bowman going early-mid Round 4, and he went mid-round (Falcons). Any other Sooners getting drafted today? Ethan Downs...
My apologies for my prior post...while I don't take anything back, I picked the wrong thread to post that. This is about Fears and the NBA. My bad.
Like the NFL Draft, I will be watching the NBA Draft closely. I'm genuinely happy to read that Fears is moving up the Draft Boards. I also...
I remember just three drafts ago laughing at Texas for literally having ZERO draft picks...got a little egg on my face for laughing at them now. We SHOULD get two guys drafted in Round 4 (Stutsman and Bowman), but I'm not sure anyone else will get picked. I have to agree with Wichita in that...
The reason I respectfully disagree is because those 12th and 13th spots are important for PRACTICES. I think you really want those players to be guys who can help make everyone else better even if they aren't quite good enough to be part of the rotation.
It has been a tough postseason for our NBA Sooners so far. Trae's team went out in the play-in round, and both AR and BH had rough Game 1 performances. Buddy frustrated Jimmy Butler enough that he had to be told to stop dribbling the ball (yikes). Let's hope both these guys have a good...
One would have to be biased to say Uzan's overall game did not take a big leap in the second half of this past season. When he gets to the NBA, I just hope he plays like he did in January - March, and not like he played in April. He was downright awful in that title game. In fairness, I...
I gave both you and Skyvue a "Like" because you both do what is best for yourselves or your families even if your values / beliefs may not match. I've tried things your way and Skyvue's, so I can relate to both of you. I don't think there are any wrong answers here as long as whoever is...
Congrats to Buddy Hield for making 200+ 3-pointers for the 7th consecutive season. He waited until the very end to accomplish it this year, but he hit four of them tonight (needed three) to hit the 200-mark. He's currently 16th in NBA history in 3-pointers made. If he can play another 3-4...
Cool story! I remember watching that game back in '86. DJ scored 31 points at Cameron (how many opponents to this day can say that?). OU was down 20+ points and cut it to 1 before Duke pulled away late. At the end of the day, DJ was part of the best OU recruiting class of all time when you...
Great article. Also, during a recent game when AR was being discussed, one of the announcers mentioned that he was the NBA's best undrafted player since Ben Wallace. That's very high praise.
That makes sense. I just don't think Kelvin has ever pulled in three top-20 guys in the same class...would like to see what he does with them. On paper, his best OU recruiting class was in 2003 headlined by Drew Lavendar and Brandon Foust...and that class completely fell apart...but he's never...
Well, someone agrees with me. I just saw on ESPN's website that they are already putting Houston at #1 in the preseason poll next year due to their recruiting class...and of course, their head coach. I have no idea whether they will be good enough to win it all next season, but I'd hardly be...
I don't follow recruiting as closely as others, but heard that Houston has three top-25 players inked for next season. If that's the case, there's no reason to think they won't be back in this game next year.
We could easily see that Uzan's confidence had been shattered. Florida knew he was not going to take the last shot, so not sure why he even touched the ball on that last play.
