Pickens was injured in March I think. Maybe she hasn't gotten back to where she was. The thing is I think they have two other good pitchers. Maybe no offense or defense...I don't know.

Yep. The loss wouldn't hurt either that much, so let other pitchers get good experience, plus playing between 2 tough series. I can think of a couple of other reasons not to pitch them. Save their arms, save people gaining knowledge of them.

I believe many factors should be considered and that would be one..so what that means for each particular player...the why of their length of stay...will they be happy and fit in here? That's why recruiting is so difficult...many intangibles.

This is only the second series playing an elite team. Fans do not know how good OU is. Time will tell. I am not surprised that we are playing tight. We do have some great players. I certainly do not fault anyone. A lot of softball left before regionals. I enjoy these tough games...
