For giggles our future conference has the following teams below that (and ATM is 61):

73: Vanderbilt
94: South Carolina
107: Ole Miss
157: Missouri

Don't be shocked if the Big 12 gets at least 7 into the tournament. Unless one or two teams really drop off, any loss on the schedule may not even qualify as a "bad loss". A 7-11 will probably be good enough this year in conference to sneak in.
