That wasn't Fran though....but OU fans were introduced to Fran that year, as OU lost to his Manhattan team in the first round of the NCAA tourney.

KU is the measuring stick in hoops in the Big 12....not sure anyone would ever dispute that. Just like OU is the measuring stick in football.

really enjoyed watching this. seems like the game and lane was more open when players had normal human being bodies. and not workout and (legal) roid freakness.

edit: and too bad Prince Fowler didn't stay. though, Kelvin had some nice vastly underrated point play in the early years with Ontjes and Michael Johnson.
