2002 Big 12 Tournament Championship Game

This game is scheduled to air on ESPN Classic at noon Monday. Might be my favorite OU game of all time, for a variety of reasons. Lots of college basketball people thought that KU team was almost unbeatable, and figured the only question was whether they would score 100. The defensive job OU did that day was beyond belief. And of course, it happened in Kemper, which was a second home for KU. The previous year, OU beat them in the semis on the way to the tourney title. Beating KU and Mizzou in KC was always a great feeling.

Had great seats for that one. Those were 2 fun repeat titles at Kemper. 15 years ago, ouch.

One of the greatest defensive performances I've seen from a college team. That KU team was legit, and OU held them to 55 points in their home state. Brown was a man inside against some pretty talented KU bigs.
