2018 Recruiting

She definitely looks like she could help OU, looks like a low post scorer, but did show a few nice drives to the basket from both the high post and the baseline...
 
Seems like a passer. It's funny. Good fundamentals are often practiced more by non-Americans. Free-throw shooting, etc.

America game is more slam dunks, pounding on chest. The American women tend to try and play like men (trying to do more than they're capable of) Wonder if Sherri C and the gang have even made contact with her?
 
No. A girl from Finland would be more likely to arrive without telling anyone. Surely, she wouldn't be in contact with anyone.
 
Can anyone clarify for me if we have any other freshmen/transfers/JUCO players coming in for this upcoming season? If I were SC i'd be a little nervous about only having 2 girls that can play down low....
 
Nobody we know of. Only the BIG 10 on next years roster so far. Treece is on the roster, but that is only becauser she is still on scholarship.
 
I noticed that she was 21, I guess I do not understand the age parameters but I did see several clips of her playing and she does look like she has skill and we could definitely use her! I wonder when the deadline is for her to make her decision? Surely there has got to be one other player coming in ! I cannot imagine that SC is content with only two big girls

"content" another word for recruiting did not turn out well!
 
If we can't close the deal against Boston College and Utah that will be disappointing.

There are 60 or so universities in Boston. I did my undergraduate in Norman and my graduate in Boston makes Norman look like Gotebo. I know half a million college kids, nearby skiing, quick train or plane ride to NYC, beaches close by, world class arts, Pro Baseball, Basketball, Football can be pretty enticing.

I must admit that if I had a scholarship from Harvard, MIT, or about any other of the schools on the Charles River, I would not have been an OU alum. That is what academic excellence and campus beauty is all about. My daughter went to Boston Law School, but didn't have time to enjoy life on the Charles and the best submarines and Italian food restaurants in the US.
 
Elli Koskinen has signed with Utah. It's going to be a tough season in the paint this year. Next year we will probably start a true freshman center, if we can get one.

If Simpson can bang with big body's and really knock down her three's we could see a lot of small ball... she could be deadly in a pick and roll situation...
