I really don't think Cam can do any worse (or Cade for that matter) than Nick or Tyler Neal on the glass and with post defense. IF Pledger is hitting, then I like the four guard lineup where we spread the floor and leave the middle open for Fitz to work.

What do you think?

Why not?

At this point is there really an option that Capel shouldnt try?

Whatever gives this team the best opportunity to win should be used, i dont care if there are 3 PG's on the court...if we are better because of it, then that is what we should do...

We arent going to win games the conventional way this season, just not reality...Imagination is the key for Capel...

Yay. We have one legitimate post presence-- Fitz-- that goes for both ends of the floor. Let's put the next four best players on the floor with him. I think Cam, Cade, Pledger and Blair are those guys.

When you have the sort of team we do I think you put your five best out there regardless of position.

Great post.

Don't think it'll work if we play bigger teams. Gardner-Webb is a very small team, so I think that's part of the reason why it worked so well last night. Then again, I don't know if anything will work against the better teams, so why not?

It worked for Tennessee last year. They just have to be willing to hustle their butts off. And shots have to fall.

We can name a lot of teams that this type of lineup has worked for in the past. We lack rebounding as it is so I like this lineup. We can get our 5 best players on the court at once this way.

Seriously just whatever gives us the best opportunity to win. But if we go to a 4 guard lineup we really are going to have to have our guys smash the boards and run at every opportunity.

My main problem with trying this is that you need some guys who can handle the rock and make decisions with the ball. Running does no good if you have a bunch of guys who don't have good ball skills or don't have a legit PG who knows how to distribute. I don't see either of those 2 things on this team right now.

The gang rebounding by the guards today was encouraging. I say just have Fitz try and take the center out of the rebounding path and let Cade, Cam, and Pledge crash in for the boards. Carl did a nice job as well.

I still like the four guard line-up. I think it gives our best chance to win. The key will be intigrating Nick and Cal into the rotation. I would treat Nick more like a guard. He plays like a guard so let him be a guard. Cal should get some minutes as a two with Blair in the game imo.
