I have never seen an OU basketball team shoot for this great a percentage(FG) after this many games(completing non conference). Probably won't hold in Big 12 but an impressive feat nonetheless. The team is shooting better, but this is mostly because of Trae's incredible passing and setting his teammates up with ultra high percentage shots. Can you imagine what it'd be if Lattin et al wouldn't have blown so many gimmes?

Yep. The Sooners are looking good in a lot of statistics. I certainly cannot remember 50% FG shooting at this point in previous seasons.

I am really fond of Lon's offensive philosophy. Since Buddy's senior year I have really paid close attention making mental notes of where the kids take their shots from. I dont know if it's his green light policy or what Lon does with them but Ive never seen a group of kids who are so meticulous with where they take their shots from yet so open with taking them. They normally catch the ball in good shooting position also helping them get such a quick shot. I'd love to watch a practice of his and see how and what he's focusing on. Maybe it's the vision of shooting and temerity in the kids that he recruits to. I really dig the way Freeman feels open like he does. He has a good shot and he always takes it from one of two spots (his jumper) and he rarely passes it up if he's open. His feet are usually square and he has a great release.

Sorry to go on. I just really like Lon's offense. These kids play good ball.
