#7 OU vs #11 UNC Jumpman Invitational 8PM CST on ESPN

by the way OU is now +6 in the min Los was on the Court ..

-14 when he was off the court

also he only has 2 turnovers

Wow....another middle school entry pass into the lane. WTF.

OU’s passing is definitely something to keep an eye on the rest of the season. I think it’s a glaring weakness. I think post play was an outlier, it won’t normally be this horrific.

Regardless, I would rather they make them now before conference play. Get this stuff on film so it hits home in practice.

A good game to highlight our weaknesses before we start conference play.

OU was down 12-2 after the first what 5 min ..

it is UNC +2 the next 35

Overall, I don't think this was a bad performance. A lot of correctable stuff. The offense was better in the second half once the ball movement increased. Everyone seemed a little tense in the first half and tried to do it all on their own. Turnovers and bad free throw shooting the main culprits. I think to open the offense up a little bit more, Porter may need to switch to Los having the ball more. He's the better pick n roll player and passer compared to Javian, and then can start running Javian off of screens.

Think the team is still filling themselves out too with all of these portal guys. I dont think there are any headcases but still players will have egos at points trying to do too much and i think we started the game that way with some "me" ball. I'm not worried. We played poorly and still made it a game at a "neutral" site with #11 team.

Still TONS of work to be done. But still positive on this team

i think these are pretty good thoughts ..

this finished +3 with Los on the court meaning OU was -15 in the 8 min he was off the court

And Milos didn’t even play well by his standards. He really needs the ball in his hands more imo. McCollum is better off the ball shooter than Milos is, too.

IMO this was a productive loss, came out way too loose and sloppy but kept pushing. UNC just hit every shot they needed to have, some a bunch of prayers.

OU getting 0 inside was the main difference besides the turnovers. The refs really negated Godwin and let UNC really push the pressure outside on our guards. A lot of learning moments for this team today against better competition.

UNC was the better team tonight, only thing to do is get better.

Gonna be ok. Shot it absolutely horrible.

Sloppy sloppy. Missed FT.

We’ll be just fine.

The moment was too big early but after the first four minutes it was an even game plus OU showed a ton of toughness down the stretch to make it close with 3:00 left.

OU played poorly (UNC gets credit for that) and still had a chance late to make it interesting.

I like this team a lot.

agree 100%

take care of the ball. play within yourself. and move the ball. that’s my takeaway.
