Question. Why do all or almost all ACL tears happen during the Fall?

That's interesting that most ACL injuries occur in the fall.

Edit to say: injuries at OU occur in the fall.

Cunningham's last one (Actually her 4th) was in pre-season, so in the fall. Maryland has had 3 this fall. I think that's probably the norm for college. I think some of the high school ones Higgins and Kendra Moore occurred in the spring or summer.

You can add Casey Walker, whose ACL injury happened before college in July 2002, while she was playing in the BCI Nationals.
