I find it odd that the national communists against athletes can move so quickly on Cam Newton and still havent ruled on the Tiny Gallon mess. This hurts recruiting pretty badly so that is probably part of their delay whether or not we are innocent. Punishment just because.

I'm sure the Auburn/Newton deal was expedited because Newton was leading them to a possible NC game when the allegations came out.

OU, OTOH, is probably down the list of priorities especially since the player and coach in question are no longer at the university. I'm sure if Gallon had returned this season, we would have at least heard by now if he would be eligible to play this year.

Personally, I believe Gallon heard he wasn't going to be eligible and that's why he went on to the NBA. Seems like somebody on this board with some knowledge of the situation posted as much.

OU knew the team wouldn't be any good this year, they should have gone ahead and imposed a self ban on post season.

That depends, does anyone know anything about the origin of his tattoos?

You won't get any responses to this. I have asked this question multiple times over the last 3-4 months. I can't figure out if it's because nobody knows or those that do know don't want to say anything.

That's a rumor/conclusion that a lot of people think to have legs/it makes sense.

If Gallon or the coach in question were still here I would be worried about it. But since Gallon apparently paid the money back. and he's not here and the coach isn't here. I don't see anything happening.

Tiny Gallon's issue looks like chump change compared to what has happened on the college landscape since. For the NCAA to put the hammer down on Gallon on the cusps of players selling rings, Cam Newton, Tennessee, North Carolina football, etc, would make the NCAA look likes hoes.

...national communists against athletes ...

... just to be clear, the NCAA is all about the benjamins (being theirs)... so it's the National Capitalists Against Athletes. :)

Taliferro,Gallon,Hazinger are immune to the normal pressure the NCAA can use to get information so unless someone gets pi$$ed off and has audio,video,e-mail or some type of paper trail of dirt,it is pretty much a cold case.
