AP top 25

Interesting quote about this week's poll:

"With eight losses, the Lady Vols have the most defeats for a ranked team at this point since the 1999-2000 season".

Crème is still suggesting they may be a top 16 team - with a home game in the tourney first round.

Like I said, politics run amuck.
 
They just can't allow SEC teams to fall. Mississippi State lost twice last week, and is back at #11, courtesy of a two point win at home over 12-8 Tennessee.

Kentucky loses at home to unrated Vanderbilt and on the road to unrated Florida, and they only drop to #18.

Missouri wins over two unrated teams and is up to #21

Tennessee loses twice before clobbering unrated Alabama, and is still in the top 25 at #23 with a 13-8 record.

At least, OU conquests of West Virginia and Washington look better now that they have been and/or are rated. BYU is finally getting votes. Beating A&M just hasn't gotten them a lot of traction.
 
When eas the last time neither Duke team was in the AP top 25?
 
I'm not sure the last time that Arizona St. was last ranked #7 in the country. It's very unusual when someone says they are the best team in the Pac 12 but it looks like they are. Oregon St. is right behind them in the AP poll.
 
when did Connecticut slip in the polls? They're worse than Bama in football
 
Looks like the coaches are not as high on OSU as the AP Poll.
 
Brenda Frese has her team in the top 5 again. She is a great coach who doesn't get as much credit as she deserves, IMO.
