Guess that Capel stink was still in the arena and getting to coach tonight.
Lets face it...Losing Newell killed this team. We didn't just lose 13ppg...we lost the only guard other than Pledger that can put the ball in the hoop. We have no bench scoring now. We have 2 PGs that can't shoot the ball and their only strength is to take it to the rim(and their not even good at that). This isn't Kruger's fault and its not Capels either...this is the fact that we only have 1 guard that can shoot the ball. Clark might not be a good shooter, but at least the defenses respect him enough to put pressure on him unlike Grooms.
I don't know why Newell left but he left a huge void on this roster with no way of being replaced this season. They need to use his scholarship and find a PG or an immediate scoring option for next season or this team will be in the same boat as they are right now.
