The Cowboy guards are good. But I prefer our team because there is no comparison in length and athleticism between the 2. OU wins there hands down. I think our ceiling is higher.

Comparing their ceiling to ours is a waste of time. Evans and Forte are wonderful players and Carroll is close but that's it. They're at least 2 years away from being any good.

To be honest I think their freshmen are better than there upperclassmen. Their defense is a mess right now. Evans and Forte may carry them to a decent season this year if guys like Waters and McGriff continue to develop.

I just can't agree with this. Maybe he wouldn't start for every team (he'd start for about 60-70% of power conference teams) but there very few teams who wouldn't want him as vital part of their rotation. He's somewhat limited physically from a length standpoint but he's incredibly strong for his size, a plus defender, attacks the basket like a wild man, is an excellent shooter, and a peerless teammate and kid.

You may have answered your own question about how good OSU will be this season. Their guards, especially Evans, Forte and Carroll, are really good. Problem is, they're not good enough to make up for a weak supporting cast on a consistent basis.

Top three maybe. Finishing in the top half of the conference would be at least worth an atta boy.

Underwood is a good coach. He'll get the job done in the next year or two. I just can't see your favorite team exceeding expectations without getting much help from the post positions.

Where do you think OSU will finish?
