I can't remember the guy's name, and my copy of Basketball Times isn't handy at the moment. But one thing I noticed is that the guy just ripped the OU security people, apparently for religiously guarding the lower seating area during that Weber State non-classic.

which shows he doesn't know what he is talking about .. standing does not equal "guarding"

Guy's name is Joe Connor. I noticed the topic line for his work is "Travel." So I think he's traveling various regions to catch high school and college games. He went to a bunch of high school games in Oklahoma and had good things to say about the folks in Oklahoma: "Plain and simple, Oklahoma is a great sports state with some really friendly folks who tell it like it is with no B.S. - much like my trip through Nebraska last year (except for the corn)...."

The thing about the ushers at the LNC came in the sub-section "Worst Ushers Award." He wrote, "It's a tie between Oklahoma and UT-Arlington. Oklahoma's ushers are like Missouri's. You'd think they'd mellow out for, I don't know - Oklahoma-Weber State three days before Christmas? Think again. They were the Grinch...."
