If we sign jones and lamb (Please!!) would that leave us with the best offensive lineup in school history? even though we will be really young

tmg
lamb
clark
jones
gallon (if he stays)

with that lineup we would be deadly from all 5 spots, i cannot remember a year when we did not have weak links

Well on the 2002 Final Four team we started:
Quannas White
Hollis Price
Ebi Ere
Jabari Brown
Aaron McGhee

of course that was with Eduardo Najera injured.

the 1988 Final Four team started:
Mookie Blaylock
Ricky Grace
Dave Sieger??
Stacey King
Harvey Grant

Both of those teams were pretty impressive on offense

Pretty sure Najera wasn't injured, but gone to the NBA for the 2002 Final Four team.

what does that have to do with the starting line ups? neither of those are very far off right???

The 88 team had 3 or 4 20 ppg guys. There's probably few offenses in college basketball close to that.

The post 88 teams may not have been the best teams, but they had some flat out scorers when you talk about B. Price, T. Evans, Jackie Jones, Henry, etc.

The 1988 team was a scoring machine. King was an AA. Harvey Grant may have been the best player on the team. He was so good that Phil Jackson intentionally called Horace Harvey in practice to motivate him. Mookie was great and possibly the best all around player ever at OU. He absolutely dominated on the defensive end of the court and could knock down 20 on a team. Grace was very good and actually went on to become one of the best ever in Australian professional basektball. Seiger was the weakest offensive player in that lineup and he was more than capable of scoring 20 in a game.

I doubt those five would start, for starters.

Second, they'd be awfully young.
