In my section and around me every time Buddy scored the ISU fans audibly groaned. It was awesome. I kept saying "you can't stop him!".

He put on a clinic tonight.

Booom! That must have been very gratifying!

I mean, some of us were saying the same thing about Niang lol. Great performances by both those guys, Buddy just made a couple better plays and we won!

He really emphasized the mid-range game, something in which he normally shies away from. Since the opposing defense wants to blanket his outside game it seems imperative that he does the same in other games as well.

No, not really. Niang had a great 2nd half, actually a really good stretch starting at about the 10:00 mark. Niang also travels every time so I don't really count him as doing the same thing.

Wish I could have been there with you, Booger.

Also, I took a little grief here last year for speaking ill of the ISU fanbase. But I still say the Cyclone fans are are some of the whiniest, most entitled fans in the Big 12. Last night they booed and whined over every call that didn't go their way (some may have been poor calls, but certainly not all).

Maybe Ames should be called Stillwater North.

I thought they were pretty good fans until last night. I was wrong.

I think like most fanbases they have good fans but they have some really redneck fans a lot of them. My dad always bragged about Nebraska fans but I went to Lincoln in 2005 for the football game and saw a different side of their fanbase and then again at the 2006 big 12 champ game at Arrowhead. I left those 2 games thinking NU has some of the worst fans in the conference and now I think ISU is not far from there.

Yep...it was the same thing in my section. For most of the game, I was nice and diplomatic.....telling everyone that Buddy is an NBA guy and he is just un-guardable at times, yet it didn't seem to soothe their agony.:D

I wasn't...LOL...I kept shouting "you can't stop him...you can only hope to contain him!".

I'm certain, had we lost a number of them would have ripped me to oblivion. Our winning saved me from that. lol
