Not sure who will start next to Dean Wade between Nigel Shadd (highly thought of freshman) or the Utah/Juco transfer Makol Mawien. Either way, this looks like a good team. They have a lot of returning experience, some nice players, etc. If the new recruits can provide a supporting cast to Stokes/Brown/Wade, they should make the NCAA Tournament.

PG: Kamau Stokes (6'0'' 165 - JUNIOR)
One of four players to start in all 35 games… The 35 starts tied teammates Barry Brown and Dean Wade for the most-ever by a sophomore at K-State. Averaged 11.7 points on 35.6 percent shooting (120-of-337), including 36.4 percent (64-of-176) from 3-point range, with 4.1 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 33.3 minutes per game

SG: Barry Brown (6'3'' 195 - JUNIOR)

They'll win 20 games if they can get any sort of contribution from the bench. If not, then they'll be about where they were last year. Next year with those 4 guys as seniors, they'll hurt some people's feelings.

I'm not too worried about them. OU lost a historic amount of games last year, and still managed to beat them by 30 points in Norman.

I dunno -- they've got a pretty rugged nonconference slate (coughcough).

I bet most people would be surprised to know that Lon Kruger is 3-7 against KSU. That surprises me.
Kruger's 5-7 vs. KSU. OU swept them in Frank Martin's last (& Kruger's first) year. Weber's pretty much owned us ever since.

Well we get no help in Manhattan ever! Just seems like we miss a ton of shots every time we play K-State OR Stephen Hurt decides to go for career highs and hits every 3 he shoots.
