Watching several games this season...granted not all or many..I'm thinking most teams won't want to run with us.

Who do think can run?
I've seen some of bu, ku, tt, ksu, ut and wv.

Lots of games in the 60's/70's. Last night both ut and wv were just that.

That is the one thing that "worries" me...about OU's love affair with the 3..even when it isn't falling. Shooting below 30% is fine, if you're scoring 90+ anyway, and taking 35 3's. Take 35 3's, hitting below 30% isn't going to cut it, IMHO.

If TY get's double or tripled teamed other guys are going to have to step up.

Manek (2/4) Freeman (3/7) did a decent job against UTSA.

West Virginia is fine with running but they played Virginia who is infamous for playing tough D and slowing the pace to a halt. WVU still won like 68-61.

KU will run plenty even with limited #'s

TCU just beat SMU 94-83 I believe

Tech will play either way

Baylor is fine either way

KSU has been more reliant on the 3 this year as well and not playing as much D as normal. They've played really on two named teams Arizona St. and Vandy and are 1-1 against them.

Overall, I don't think the top tier teams are going to shy away from running/scoring especially the way OU plays (or doesn't play Defense) at times. Should be fun games to watch for the most part.

Sorry, but I seriously doubt we have put fear in anyone in our conference to the point they won't "run" with us.

We haven't exactly looked dominant in many games so far this year.

Kansas in serious trouble at HOME against Washington, who was TERRIBLE last year even with the first pick in the draft.

Their depth is a problem. They have four guys playing 34+ minutes. I don't think they can grind for 18 games that way.

But this game is a typical early season Kansas game. Get beat by some. Rally team so self can use it as motivation for the rest of the season. They usually happen on a neutral court somewhere.

Technically this game wasn't at home. It was at the sprint center in Kansas City. The atmosphere was totally different than it is in Lawrence. Still, they shouldn't have lost. I believe they were at least a 20+ pt favorite coming into the game. Washington did a great job of not letting KU have any open looks from 3 and let KU have the high post/paint area almost at will and KU kept trying to pass it back out for 3. Also, Washington hit a lot of shots at key points in the game. At the end of the day, KU got flat out beat.

Oh. Thanks for the clarification. I couldn't tell because the Jayhawk logo was at midcourt.

Nah I get it. I thought the same thing until I saw "Sprint Center" on the floor. I live in KC and didn't realize the game was here last night lol

Kansas is vulnerable. This is the worst team they've had probably since Self got there. Unfortunately, looks like West Virginia is the only squad with a team out there that could actually challenge them for the conference title. That being said, the conference is so loaded this year that they could pick up a bunch of losses. Wouldn't be surprised to see the conference champ finish 12-6, or maybe even worse.
