Pledger is going to become an absolute fan favorite. He is more D-1 ready than I thought. If he is hitting his shoots he is can change the course of a game by himself. From what I've seen he hits his shots pretty often. It seems like he is hitting his Freshman wall a bit early. Or at least his shot hasn't been automatic recently, but I fully expect him to be one of the best 3 point shooters in the Big XII for all of his time at OU.

most promising shooter I have seen come to OU as a frosh - the only one close was Price and we got him late (after SoCar). Hollis could shoot but more of his game was about movement and tenacity, especially early.
Other kids designated as shooters have come to OU and none looked as good as Pledger this early. His jumper itself actually reminds me of Brent's oldest brothers'.
