Cyfair shock (Mulkey Dungee) vs Michigan Crossover

http://thecube.com/event/cy-fair-shock-vs-michigan-crossover-eybl-hampton-s-491229

You can watch the game for free just sign up by email or thru facebook... I noticed Holmes jumped center for this game and not Mulkey

I watched the game. We got the two from Texas/Oklahoma that I would want. Beyond the two of them, the next three or four players that I would want played for Michigan Crossover. Pitts, Chondrazik (sp?)---good. I didn't see anything from Holmes that was positive until the last two minutes of the game in garbage time. CyFair can't handle the ball.

One game but I agree, Dungee is a better driver then I thought, Holmes likes to face up, but her jumper didn't look that strong, Prince looked kind of good, she looks a little more athletic then Mulkey. In the United game, Cox is defiantly the number 1 player in 2016 she looks like a Center tho, I'm not sure if she'll be a 4 or a 5 in college... If you check out the Philly Bells game Felicia Aiyeotan moves pretty well to be 6'9 I would love for OU to take a chance and give her a look, she could play with Mulkey.

I have watched Dungee when she wasn't able to drive. I hope she is learning that regardless of who the defender is, she must use smarts and ability to find ways to penetrate.

I saw a post from Cox in which she said she would be a 4 in college. That told me she didn't want to get stuck at the 5.

I had seen Holmes and Cox in the U-17 finals, and I was not impressed by anyone on the US team (which included Durr) other than Cox. Cox is not Breanna Stewart, but she is a good strong forward and will be a solid college player. She may not get much better than she is, but that is good enough. I have yet to be impressed by Holmes. She was actually a detriment: fouling a three-point shooter twice. Her fouls led to eight to ten points. She didn't handle the ball well, didn't shoot well, and was actually a bit clumsy. I'm not seeing the athlete that has been described.

The Michigan guards were a whole lot better than the CyFair guards. Frankly, Michigan was a much better coached team.

I watched two of Cox/Llanusa games. Thought Llanusa aquitted herself well. Team has some ball hogs but Ana still let the game come to her. Cox looked good driving but the rest of her game doesn't look that much better than Mulkey's to me. Of course I would love to have both of them.

Anything to be negative about an OU recruit.

Nancy can outjump Holmes without moving. It is about who you want where after the tip. Cypress Woods let a 6-0 F jump center because they wanted Nancy in the defensive lane at the break.

This game is the least impressive that I have seen Cox. She is aggressive and can get her points in an open game like this. But, she is not playing like I have seen her play. She is better than this. This format is not a help.

Llanusa is about as good as anyone that I have seen this or last year. She is a bit timid in this game, but she handles the ball better than anyone that I have seen on either Texas team. She can also get to the rim rather easily.

After watching CyFair and Texas United, it seems like the type of play that is involved tends to expose weaknesses in the players. I saw more of what I didn't like than what I did. The best of players were throwing the ball away, looking awkward, shooting too much when they had no shot, and looking like they only had one concern---getting attention. Some players think they are supposed to shoot every time they touch the ball.

Some players wanted to show off their ball-handling skills, and they only revealed that they aren't that good. I'm not sure that the California team has anyone who has ever shot the ball. Michigan may be the place for Sherri to recruit guards. Everyone shot well, and they didn't miss a free throw until late in the game. Michigan was also the best-coached team. Other teams seemed to have no direction. I didn't see one guard from Texas that I thought I wanted at OU, on either team. Dungee looked pretty good, especially in comparison.

I suspect that any scouts that make an evaluation are full of it. A coach might be able to look at the player and see how they can use the specific talents of the player in their system. But, they really didn't see a player that was ready to play. They saw traits, some skills, some weaknesses. CyFair had no more direction than a backyard scramble. Shooting seems to be a problem, unless you are from Michigan.

Felisha Gibbs came to mind.

It is a little better than all-star games but not much. I can see why a college coach would be turned off by the play.

I was impressed that Llanusa didn't force shots while some of her teammates were putting it up as soon as they got the ball across halfcourt.. She is so smooth with her movements that you don't realize how quick she is. Looking forward to her at OU.

I liked how easily Llanusa handled the ball. She was effortless in her control of the ball, and so many weren't. She seemed smooth at everything. But, having watched her against Muskogee, she is just that good. She does pretty much what she wants.

I was pleased to see that Nancy could block shots in AAU as well as in HS. She shot well early before giving in to the nonsense. I liked her tipping balls on defense with those long arms.

Chelsea can drive and hit free throws. Well, we have also seen that she can hit threes. She isn't going to be pushed around. She had good handles, unlike the other CyFair players.

I think a coach can get an idea of how good a player is while watching AAU ball but having that player in a camp would tell them so much more.

From watching just about all the games I was impressed with just about everyone, but I really dislike that sloppy play that goes on. I understand kids will make mistakes but some of these coaches just let these players do whatever they want and most of these girls do not know each other from a can of paint and you can tell they haven't played together.

I really like 2016 Kysre Gondrezick from Michigan crossover.
Smooth fluid shooting guard. High IQ.
But I know we are kinda done with 2016 so the 2017's I really liked were

DiDi Richards from cy fair. LOVE her size and skill at the guard spot.

Chastity Patterson reminded me a lot of Ellenberg

Johnson reminded me a lot of Gioya.

Llanusa will thrive in our Transition game. Love her will to get things done.

I don't know if anyone watched all Iowa Attack but Madison Treece has game!
Loved her play. Size and mobility a lot better than her sister from what I saw. I really hope we have offered her.

2018's- I really didn't see many that stoodout but the highlight was
Sedona prince of cy fair. I didn't get to see much of Addison Ryan to see what she could do. Charlie Collier has a great college body and size but does not know what to do with it yet. Still has time to grow into her frame and the mental standpoint. She has a nice touch around the rim for a big girl.

Also does anyone know if 2018 Aquira Decosta is related in anyway to Pam?
And if we are recruiting her? She was Invited to USA u16 and turned some heads this weekend as well.
She plays AAU with Cal stars with Sabrina Ionsceu who was voted MVP of the tournament.

I haven't seen any connection between Aquira and Pam but that doesn't mean they aren't related. In case people don't know much about Aquira, here is a tidbit of information:
