And with Mayfeild, Wadley, Forsythe, Yak and Hendricks we have some nice depth on the bench!
I agree that the starting 5 has potential. And with Mayfeild, Wadley, Forsythe, Yak and Hendricks we have some nice depth on the bench!

That bench will be a problem though unless mayfield and wadley are the real deal.
I think Hendricks & Forsythe will be a nice bench pieces but generally agree that the bench doesn’t look like a quality sec bench.
Yeah unfortunate that Moser is the one to coach them…yikesAnd with Mayfeild, Wadley, Forsythe, Yak and Hendricks we have some nice depth on the bench!
I just don't get this response? Just to say something? I mean IF they fail to make the tournament, Moser is gone is the belief of most which is what a lot of this crowd want. It would be one more year wasted.Yeah unfortunate that Moser is the one to coach them…yikes
You need some additional context? Here:I just don't get this response? Just to say something? I mean IF they fail to make the tournament, Moser is gone is the belief of most which is what a lot of this crowd want. It would be one more year wasted.
If they win 20-22 games, win 7-9+ in the league and eek into the tournament, again, I believe most think Moser would be done. If they win 23+, win 10+ in the conference and are a 7 seed or higher, are any of the "Moser needs to be gone at all cost crowd" going to give the staff their due or chalk it up to luck and hate next off-season under Moser as well?

Also, what would top tier mean to this poster or others?? To me, that would mean top 4 or 5, and it seems ridiculous to even think there is a remote chance of that happening even if every single thing goes right for us (no injuries, everyone plays close to their potential all season, we have some luck on our side, etc). Thinking Moser could make the leap from always having to play on the first day of the conference tourney to being a top tier team just seems crazy to me, especially in a year where we didn’t do well (according to all the national rankings) in the portal. You need some additional context? Here:
worse OU mens bball coach in at least 50 years. Missed the tourney 80% of the time (if he does it again, 83.3333%). Should I go on?
The attitude of "eh, what's 1 additional wasted year" while porter would be going 1/6 to the tourney in that scenario is wild to me..
that's not top tier. that is averagewhen I say top tier I mean top half, so top 8 specifically. I don't mean top 3 by any means.
Come up with a new way to be a crybaby.Yeah unfortunate that Moser is the one to coach them…yikes
Hahahaha…good one! Your mama let u out of her basementCome up with a new way to be a crybaby.
If they improve on what they did the year before and I mean legitimately improve then yes, I would say give them their due/credit. I'm not talking the same barely 20 wins/.500 or under .500 year in the conference and squeaking in the NCAA. But people are talking about wanting to finish as a 7 seed or better in the NCAA and top half (7-8) at worst in the conference and if that is accomplished that would deserve some credit of signs of improvement by the team/staff. If not, and it's the same barely at 20 wins and under .500 in the conference then time to move on for sure IMO.Give the staff their due if they go 2/6 making the tournament?
Obviously, CBS sports is just one prediction but Nebraska was picked to finish 14th last year in the Big 10. No one really had Nebraska as a team to worry about either. Every year there are teams like that coming out of nowhere to "shock" the experts. That's just one example from last year. Hopefully this OU team has a more well-rounded team that fits well together and also shocks some people.I can't remember who said it, but I saw online (X maybe) yesterday where somebody was talking about how tough the SEC would be next year, rattled off about 8 names, with no mention of OU.
So while some OU fans might be happy with the roster, I don't think its really getting much play nationally yet.
It’s already been time to move on after last year. A 7 seed this year will not get them any credit from me, just buys another year. I’m sorry I’m being so negative, but year 6 shouldn’t be looking for signs of improvement. If they improve on what they did the year before and I mean legitimately improve then yes, I would say give them their due/credit.
