Preach Buddy!

I've been watching OU basketball since the 80s when I was a kid. Of course my all time favorite player (as it should be) is Wayman Tisdale. My second favorite player was Hollis Price, as much for his great attitude as his style of play. Buddy has a long ways to go to get to that level for me, but he is on the right track. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he is going to win the Naismith or lead us to a final four like the other two, but he has such a fantastic attitude it's hard not to absolutely love the kid.

Maybe I just like players who are always smiling.

I am with you, and I think everybody in Soonernation needs to have Buddy at the top of their lists as one of their favorites. But there is one player that I have loved seeing grow up in the past two years, and that is Isaiah Cousins. I'm not trying to thread jack, but I just love his grit and competiveness. But of course, Buddy is an incredible athlete and more importantly, person!

I love great attitudes and competitiveness. Buddy fits that mold to a T. In fact, most of the players under LK have these traits. I know everyone and their dog likes to compare Buddy to Hollis on these forums but I can't help but do the same. I think Buddy actually has a higher ceiling on his talent level and success but that has yet to be seen so I will refrain from the comparisons for now.

And I agree with what you said Chaser. I love the college game when players stick around and develop and you can see them grow with each game. Cousins is doing that before our eyes and it is so pleasing to have the right coach for the job. LK is welcome to stay for as long as he wishes if he continues this trend.
