had 10 points in 15 minutes. When he's on...I think Lon's got to go with him. He's so streaky, but when he's good, he's really good.

He has such a smooth shot. I'd also like to see him get some more playing time.

Ha...I wasn't necessarily saying he was a great shooter or that he should start. But when he can score, he's a huge + player for us. When he's making baskets, I don't think we can take him out.

He has the second highest shooting percentage on the team at 48% from the floor and shoots 78% from the line.

He has the worst jump shot on the team (for guards). I cringe every time he shoots.

Agreed.

To this point, he hasn't lived up to expectations, although he looks better coming off the bench than starting.

I know it's a smaller sample size this season, but his shot has looked better than his previous two seasons. Cameron's shooting percentage has increased 7% compared to last season, while his free throw % has shot up 12%. He's gotten better at shooting from the elbow, off the dribble, and has done really well in the mid-range baseline spots where Fitz use to excel.

I've been impressed with the offensive improvements Cam has made from this year to last. I wouldn't mind him starting over Pledger given Pledger's recent struggles. It would be a huge boost defensively. Unfortunately, even though Cameron has improved his mid range consistency, pulling Pledger out would allow opposing teams to shrink down on defense without another perimeter threat.

I don't think his jumper has improved as much as people think. One thing he has done, is he isn't shooting the long shots any more. Nothing outside of about 15-18 feet. I mean, he has only taken one three pointer all season. And looking at his percentage doesn't tell us much, b/c Cam gets a lot of fast break dunks and layups, and that skews his percentage. I certainly don't mind Cam slamming home balls on the break. I'm guessing that his 12-18 foot jump shots, on the year, are still at an unacceptable level, but I don't know of a website that has that breakdown.

I disagree about him getting "a lot" of fast break dunks and layups
