My understanding is that Taylor will be back next season, I have not heard if Madi will be or wants to move on professionally.

Yes, they have another year because of covid. Lampkin does too. Madi will probably be picked in the WNBA draft, so it is doubtful if she comes back. It's possible That Ana could get another year, but no one knows if she will.

Thanks guys for reading an "old" man's mind, I was watching the highlights, again can't get enough of this team and I was just thinking of asking the same question. Would love to see both back next year but I think Madi moves on but if she came back this would be a hard team to beat.

Remember: in the women's tournament, the top 4 seeds in each region host the first two rounds at their home court. So, if OU can work their way to one of the top 16 teams (they're close right now!), they will get to play the first two games in Norman and have a very, very good shot of making the Sweet 16.

I am hopeful but concerned that we might drop some games in the remainder of our schedule. I think there are four games that we could lose.

at Texas
at ISU
at TCU (this one we should win)
vs KSU

The other two games are at osu and KSU at home. We should win both of those although KSU has a good team this year.

If we were to drop 3 of our remaining 6 I wonder how that would affect our seeding.

I agree, we could lose to ISU at their home court, as well as Texas in Austin, but I expect we go into KSU with a chip on our shoulder and play harder and with something to prove. I just can't see this team letting a team get at them like KSU did the first time, twice. Also, Texas is struggling to put away close games and with their youth and overall lack of offensive talent I believe we CAN beat Texas. The only game I'm about 70% sure we will lose is ISU away, but who knows, stranger things have happened!

We just have to focus on winning the games we SHOULD win and I think we'll be alright. Right now we're a #4 seed, which would give us 2 home games in the tourney and a legitimate shot at a S16..

Texas lost to Baylor in Waco on Friday and in Austin yesterday. They play Texas Tech on Wednesday. It will be interesting to see how they respond. Will they let the back-to-back losses to Baylor affect them or will they be more determined than ever?

I’d think that Tech beating them in Austin earlier this year would be sufficient motivation (it definitely would be for me), but you’re right, sometimes you just don’t know.
