Sherri had similar remarks about both: All-Conference point guard and one of the best players in the Big Twelve.
Are these the core of the team around whom we can build. Gabbi has three years left. Maddie has either two or three depending on medical hardship. That would be some time to develop a stronger program.
Maddie is going to be a monster on the court. She has her swagger back. She is playing at a high level, shooting behind the arc, driving to the rim, playing solid defense, and passing the ball and anticipating better. As she goes, so will the Sooners.
Gabbi, solid, good all around game, just an extension of last year.

I notice that both begin with Gabbi and Maddie and have similar things to say. Gabbi is better, perhaps All-COnference. Maddie is what we thought she might be?Gabbi better in all phases-defense, in control of offense, shooting; she will compete for all conference honors.
Maddie looking more like what several on this board said she could be-length on defense, willing and able to shoot, good passes for assist. I think she is a little out of shape (maybe because of knees), and had to come out a couple of times.
