Patterson has left Texas. Not surprised at all. I am surprised that she didn't leave sooner. Wonder if we have a shot since we were one of her finalists.

Wouldn't she lose a year of eligibility if she transferred to another Big XII school?

I'm not surprised whatsoever. I thought she would leave as well because she literally got no playing time, at least in any of the games I saw Texas play. so Texas has lost the top two recruits from last year's class already. Baylor has lost valuable recruits recently as well, can we say a wealth of riches?! They've got too many all-americans, those type of players are not used to riding the bench! We could definitely use her! Although not quite sure what she's capable of since I've never seen her play

When I saw Patterson in AAU ball against Dungee and the player from Michigan that is transferring to WV, I thought Patterson was about the fifth best guard on the floor. She took threes, but didn't hit any until very late in the game, hit one. She had the ball stolen from her by quicker guards routinely. I really wasn't sure why everyone rated her so highly.

I might have seen her on a bad night, and I might be wrong. I just didn't see someone who excited me. Never saw why she was rated something like #6.

Gondrezick is the one who is transferring to WV from Michigan having averaged about 14.9 ppg as a freshman for Michigan.

Patterson is a scorer and likes to have the ball in her hands... I wouldn’t take her over Tatum, Tatum is the better all around player in imo...

I remember when Tatum and Chasity were both getting recruited to Texas and Oklahoma. Spoke to both and both very different mindsets. Tatum is a true pg just don’t have very many of those. Chasity is more of a Shaina player. Her 3 has always been good but if Her build has really kept her from doing Shaina things. Shaina can miss a layup get her own rebound in the trees and score. Patterson body is slight. She was a volumn shooter you can’t have too many of those on one team. Not sure where she ends up but Aston said early in in season they didn’t know who the backup pg would be. Littleton won that out it was clear and freshman played before her. I just think Aston saw she wasn’t a fit. More and more you will see these all Americans not pan out. It’s so political in that ring. I’m not surprised at all.

I agree. I saw her play many times. She is a 2 (SG) in a pg's body. Volume shooter all the way, not much defense to speak of. Kind of like Dean at UCLA who transferred from Tech.

Please update whenever anyone finds out where she goes to. I'd be interested to see where she ended up. I've always wondered when players leave a program if they think about the teams that recruited them from high school or if they look in a completely new direction..

Gondrezick is back and had 16 points off the bench for WVA... rumor was she’s engaged to NBA Josh Jackson so she could have been done with basketball, but it looks like she will continue playing.
