Cheap OU/Wiscy Tickets on Stub Hub

OU basketball tickets are an incredible bargain, especially when you consider that parking is free and the arena is so accessible. 10 dollars to see a top 10 team play a power conference opponent is incredible.

I seriously can't believe I got season tickets for only about $12 per game this year. Decent seats too, and I've been moving down near the court during all of these sparsely attended blowouts. Also, while I know the OU basketball game experience isn't particularly memorable, I still think it's so much better than whatever the hell the Thunder are doing. There isn't a moment during a Thunder game without music blaring over the PA system, it's absolutely miserable.

Tickets are $25 through the ticket office, so we'd be putting a lot more money up to go in their pockets instead of season ticket holders (and stub hub)

In an effort to encourage getting butts in the seats, OU actually encourages the use of StubHub by season ticket holders that cannot make it to a particular game. When OU mails out the season tickets, an OU/StubHub flyer is included with the season ticket package. This OU/StubHub flyer actually instructs OU fans on how to utilize StubHub. Here are some quotes from the flyer provided with the season ticket package:

Not all Sooner fans are financially loaded. There is nothing wrong with using StubHub to get cheap tickets, or any tickets. The more fans at the game, the better.

There are literally 6 dollar tickets on there. You can't even go to a movie for 6 dollars anymore. Plus, it is guilt free because of their partnership with OU. Around this time of year I always get jealous of fans in Oklahoma.
