Nine for nine from the field in a Tulsa Shock win over the San Antonio D-Robs. But, in staying with her old college habits, 4 from 8 from the line :)

22 points. Yay CP3

PS: D-Rob had 15 points. If you haven't seen her latest hairstyle, photos from the game here.

That was a good game. DRob would have had a few more points but CParis is too familiar with DRob's baseline drive and reverse. SCoale and crew were in the stands during the NCAA evaluation dead period before they hit the road to recruit again...I hope.

I see that CParis is still JAppel’s mentor. Those of us that remember when both played for their respective East Bay Xplosion AAU teams know that JAppel was very good and a class behind CParis. They would practice/scrimmage occasionally and CParis would give JAppel all that she could handle. But CParis would always go to the younger team’s games and encourage JAppel and give her tips during half-time.
They play again next week.

Chad went to the game but I don't think Sherri was there.
Yes, SCoale was there as well. "Chad" should have been back at the office going over recruit reports. But that's another story!

Shock beat Stars 95-90 behind 22 points from Paris

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Courtney Paris scored a career-high 22 points and the Tulsa Shock made three late free throws to beat the San Antonio Stars 95-90 Thursday...

Paris performed well before her former college coach at Oklahoma Sherri Coale, who traveled the turnpike from Norman to Tulsa...

''I saw them on the baseline and I knew I had to finish,'' said Paris, who shot 9 for 9 from the field with two blocks. ''It's always great to have the support of people around you. I had a great experience at the University of Oklahoma. So whenever those guys come out you have an incentive to play a little harder, a little better.''

Asked if having her former coach and assistants courtside made her nervous, Paris joked, ''No, because I know tomorrow she won't yell at me. Seriously, she congratulated the team on the win. It was nice to have her here.''...

The reason I thought perhaps Sherri didn't go is because Chad rode to Tulsa with a couple of guys. I think one was an equipment guy and not sure about the other one.
