Cy Woods

Yeah I was at that game. She could never get going and they couldn't get the ball inside to her.That so. Is something Sherri need s take a look at her.I notice a Baylor I look at someone from Cu Ranch.
 
I will be very eager to see how Mulkey translates in college. Composure will be key.

She is a project at this point. I'm sure it won't happen but she really needs to redshirt while getting a lot stronger and learning Sherri's system.

Never thought of it that way, but that would be the best thing for her. Gives her a chance to get stronger and it will also allow the coaches to help her to get stronger mentally.

I got laughed at by Syb when I tried to explain to him that she was not the kid he thought she was. I told him the thing that made Cy woods go last year was the point guard at Tulsa and Ogumike, last night made my point for me. Last year Cy woods beat Katy Tompkins 81-19 and this year Katy Tompkins beat Cy woods in the playoffs by 7.

SoonerNorm had the best idea .......allow her to red shirt for a year.

How does she foul so much in some games?

A second question is why do they seem to have trouble getting the ball to her? That sounds like a guard passing problem. Why can't they just toss it high so she can get it but no one else can reach it?

If the other players were the ones responsible - basically on their own - to score at will and win the state championship, why in heaven's name did they turn down all the offers (if true UConn, Notre dame, et al obviously recruited them hard) from all the major universities?

That is what has always puzzled me by your posts about the All American play by the others.

Erica Ogumike took a lesser college as a package deal for her older sister. Erica won mvp last year and averaged 22 points in district. Texas offered her as well as Stanford but they wouldn't guarantee her sister could have a scholarship.

Syb your opinion and my opinion means nothing when the numbers speak the truth. I can't wait till next year so that we can revisit these topics.

Not painting her as a stiff, but it's the same as Prince making McDonald's all American and Nina Davis not making it. They have been known to make mistakes. Just because they vote you there do not mean you are supposed to be there.

Just look to the boys side of OU.......they didn't have Buddy Hield in the top 100 and now he's projected to go in the top 7 of the NBA draft.

Davis is playing like a kid who wasn't a High School All American this season... After a strong 2 years she's seems to come back to earth. I can't see Davis or Mictchell (South Carolina) making the All American team this year... I have Tuck and Wilson over both players at this time.
