Not a big surprise, given how severe the original punishment was compared to similar situations.
This is a joke. KU cheated and he still gets to play for them. They’ll never be punished. Their entire program is built on cheating and paying players.
KU will be a favorite to win it all next season. If OU had done what ku has done and continues to do, We’d likely get the death penalty.
The system is rigged.
Such an odd phenomenon that there are so many people who are convinced the NCAA is out to get OU. Has any program, blue blood or not, been given serious sanctions as a result of the current scandal? LSU is not even close to being a blue blood and they haven't been sanctioned, either. I'll never understand why so many sports fans think referees and leagues and sanctioning bodies are actively trying to screw their team.

It's not an unfounded belief.

Lol ok, a case from 35 years ago that has nothing to do with basketball.
First off, this belief that the NCAA isn't a fan of Oklahoma didn't happen last night. Second, this case had obvious ramifications that extended beyond just football. Finally, this case cost the NCAA a fortune. KU basketball (along with the other blue bloods), on the other hand, makes the NCAA a pretty penny. If you can't see the difference in that, I'm just gonna plant a fence post and let you have at it for a few hours.
My bad. And here I thought our football team also makes the NCAA money.
Don't forget that OU and Georgia are the ones who took away the football money by suing for rights to televise their own games.
That being said no they don't have it out for us. They may have a bit in the 70's and 80's.
