Jessi Murcer’s 21-point performance wasn’t enough to lead the No. 6 Westmoore girls to victory at No. 4 Deer Creek Tuesday.
It was the first ranked team Jaguars (2-1) have faced this year as they try to make it back to the state tournament this season. They just couldn’t find enough offense in the second half to mount a comeback, being outscored 31-22 after intermission. Veronika Zilajeva was the Jags second leading scorer with 11 points.
