She can shoot.
From watching the state final game, I can't really tell much about how good she will be against D-1 talent. It didn't appear that there was anyone else on either team that could actually shoot. Poly-Webb did have much better ball-handling than did Franklin Road Academy. FRA had a point guard that probably had between ten and fifteen turnovers, mostly just careless. It was stunning that FRA won with as many turnovers as they had.
Wyatt has good handles and seems to be able to hit almost any shot. She may be the best pure shooter that we have recruited since Whitney. She can hit from anywhere. She also seemed to have a good idea of how to use her hands. I'm just not sure about her footspeed or how she will do against what will be much better competition. Of course, she had trouble in this game trying to escape the fact that they tended to double or triple her. She was never alone. Since FRA had no other scorers who could hit anything other than layups, they left everyone else alone. Others could have taken a step and shot. Derica usually had to retreat before she went forward.
I did find it interesting that if she got a loose ball, it was two points. In other words, if unguarded, she was absolutely devastating.
She also was awarded the MVP again, third year in four. But, she was obviously head and shoulders above the rest of the players on the floor for either team. I saw no other D-1 prospects on either team.
