2016 Rankings (Prospect Nation)
1. Lauren Cox Flower Mound
3. Joyner Holmes Cedar Hill
10. Amber Ramirez San Antonio Wagner (Not in DFW)
17. Nancy Mulkey Cypress Woods (Not in DFW)
23. Ciera Johnson Duncanville
24. Calveion Landrum Waco La Vega
26. Natalie chou Plano West
37. Ar'Leighshya McElroy Richardson
42. Kiana Ray Bowie
46. Jada Underwood Mesquite Horn

Isn't it wonderful that eight of the top 46 prospects in the country live in the DFW Metroplex. Funny thing is that none are from the FW side. It catches a lot of Dallas suburbs. It helps that two more of the top 46 are from elsewhere in Texas. With all of this talent in DFW, SMU, TCU, OU, and Baylor should be able to build powerhouses just by keeping most of them at home.

It continues into the 2017 class when four of the top seven prospects are once again from Texas.

Do you actually believe that 8 of the top 46 prospects in the nation are from DFW? Oh. If you don't know, Bowie is up just east of McKenney. It's where the VA Hospital food for the VA in south Dallas is made with a truck leaving for the VA three times daily.

Bowie is approximately 60 miles west and 30 miles north of McKinney on U.S. 81 highway north of Decatur, TX.

I wish we had an assistant from Texas who can recruit. Lots of talent within 200 miles of Norman.

I haven't seen Calveion Landrum, but a few people are saying she's the real deal, almost 6 foot lead guard... Baylor got a verbal from here around the same time we got one from Mulkey...

While this article lists her at 5'10", others list her at 6'. It makes it tough to match up with a PG that tall.

With players like her headed to Baylor, you have to believe that is causing Cox to realize she would be playing with really good players if she chooses Baylor.

I agree Dungee and Mulkey could both turn out to be great... but Baylor has a few top 10 players on there roster and a future all american.

If you didn't catch the cynicism, there is absolutely no way that eight of the top fifty girls in the nation are from DFW. I've seen some of these. I've seen others who were better. Prospect Nation must have a scout who lives in Plano or nearby.

OK. I have Bowie and Bonham switched, and the VA meals come from Bonham.
