Did anybody see Buzz two-stepping at WVU last night?

After Marquette came back from 18 down, he started dancing to John Denver's "take me home country road". The WVU faithful, particularly the students were ready to lynch him. They had to bring in 6 or 7 police officers to hold them back.

Awesome job last night as Marquette had some key players suspended. 40 points per game in fact is what the suspended players averaged collectively.

My preferred OU coaching timeline: Lon Kruger ---> Buzz Williams ---> James Fraschilla

:woot

I wonder if you guys would think it was "good stuff" if Travis Ford danced a little dig to Boomer Sooner at midcourt of the LNC after they just beat us in Norman?

I wonder if you still hang your 5th place ribbon on your wall in your dorm.

They weren't playing their fight song, Country Road is loved my people outside of West Virginia.

Just because the West Virginia inbreds, and you, are overly sensitive and want everyone to be winners, doesn't mean the rest of us are going to tear up or lose sleep over it.

I love it! Wish he was here!

No thanks. I'll take Coach Kruger, a man who conducts himself with class at all times. A man who isn't in love with himself. A man who doesn't make it all about him.

What makes Buzz's actions last night even more pathetic is that he didn't start his cute little dance until the cameras came on.

I will say this: if some stooge pulled a similar stunt right in front of our student section, I would hope that our students would react EXACTLY the same way.

They reacted like children who had just lost their tee ball championship and were told they weren't receiving their yellow ribbon.

Boo freaking hoo. Cry us a river, inbreds.

Seems like something Tubbs would've done. Good stuff.

Yep.

I will say this for Buzz: from his apology immediately afterward it is obvious that at least he understands that he acted like a moron. At least he gets it.

They'd have to be there after the game is over to actually see it. Perhaps they could be angrily reacting from their TV sets at home, but I don't see how that would matter.

I wouldn't say that it's because he acted like a moron, it's because he didn't want the drunk, couch burning, future Big 12 brethren to kill him... I love to see a coach show excitement after winning a hard fought game, in which he had personally suspended players for the 1st half for being morons themselves...
