Early classic TV alert

I'm not sure what time it'll be on for those of you down in OK, but up here (I have the Fox College package on Cox, FWIW), they break out the archives (i.e. last night it was the OU-Loyola '90 game) every Saturday morning @ 1 AM. According to my viewing guide, this coming Saturday, it'll be the '84 game @ Syracuse, which a lot of people give credit as to being the key game to OU's arrival on the national scene. Just a heads up to those of you who might want to DVR it.

That was one of the two most significant OU men's games of its time (getting good pub and building interest), along with the '77 OU-Mizzou game. I shudder to think what happens to the program if we don't win both of those.
