Edmond Memorial’s Taylor Norman started hot and that was just enough to push No. 7 Edmond Memorial to a 55-51 upset of No. 3 Westmoore.
Norman scored Memorial’s first 12 points as the Bulldogs built a 20-point lead in the first quarter. She finished with 28 overall. She also hit two clutch free throws in the fourth.
Westmoore’s Jessi Murcer finished with 14 points to become the school’s all-time scoring leader. She now has 1,819 points, passing Shanda Murdoch.
