TULSA — Edmond Santa Fe senior RaVon Nero dribbled three times, spun the basketball in her hands and let go of a perfect free throw twice.
The deafening crowd noise was far from an issue.
With 39.1 seconds remaining in Thursday’s Class 6A girls basketball state tournament qualifier, Bartlesville had just rallied to get within one.
Nero silenced the crowd.
Her two free throws helped seal No. 4 Edmond Santa Fe’s 48-42 upset of No. 2 Bartlesville at Tulsa Memorial High School.
Nero had 17 points.
Edmond Santa Fe (21-6) plays No. 3 Owasso at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Mabee Center.
