Yeah, odd that all our guys fell...Shouldn't really mean too much because look where Cousins was ranked, certainly not a 2 star...My question is why hasn't McNeace had a rating all year? He has been committed for awhile so youd think ESPN would get some sort of rating on the kid

for 2015 .. Trier is espn's #1 ranked PG and the 23rd rated player in the country

Might be LK's first "stud" at OU. Aside from a little post depth, that is about the only thing we are missing on paper. That stud guard that is the best player on the court most nights. I would LOVE to land Trier and Milton next year.

These guys have been a little banged up from what I gathered on the twitter universe. All minor injuries.
Expect them to come in right away and work hard. McNeace is super athletic, I assume he RS next year.
Still may take a JUCO. Havent heard much on Cunningham, but I say he ends up at Bradley.

Has there been any recent news on where he might be leaning?

He LOVES the attention. He'll take all those visits possible. No narrowing it down anytime soon!

But last I read he liked OU and Lon, and the way we play ball.

I think a good finish to the season, good postseason, and good start next year is probably important. A kid like that is going to want to win, so we need to show him we are capable of matching anything a NC or UCONN (just throwing out names) might be able to do.

McNeace is not ready to contribute, maybe after a redshirt year. Super-athletic though.

I don't have a script, but if someone does.. Please help us out.

Just a long list of schools for Trier: KU, Marquette, G'town, OU, OSU, Miss St, SMU, Washington, Minn, Nova, Maryland & Baylor. He says he isn't close to narrowing his list and plans to do that after the summer then take visits. He says he is open to going anywhere in the country.

They did ask him specifically about OU, Maryland, Washington and KU and he has nice things to say about all 4.

Shouldn't all our recruits be the best player on the court most nights?

I think he was referring to when he gets to OU, not HS. As in, OU having the best player on the court most nights in the big12.

Did anyone else notice Latin and what looked to be his HS team sitting behind the bench during Bedlam the other night?? He had a big smile on his face!

What I'm starting to appreciate in Coach Kruger is his ability to EVALUATE TALENT. His guys generally aren't that highly ranked, but I don't get the impression he gives a rat's behind. What was Buddy Hield's final rank? I'm guessing it was somewhere between 80 and 90. Adding up those who already bolted to the NBA, how many of these guys are better than Buddy? What about Jordan Woodard? Was he even top 100? I'm guessing he's one of the top 25-30 freshmen in America.

Finally, who on here would be surprised if two years from now, Mr. (oops, almost typed "David") Lattin is one of the top 20 or so sophomores in college basketball?

Why does everyone say Stoops won't let the football players play. Perhaps Lon Kruger doesn't want them to play because it would be a distraction for a kid to join the team in January?

And maybe they aren't good enough.

Waymanfan,
I won't be really surprised if Lattin and Buford are not among the top freshman in the Big 12 next year.
Kruger knows how to evaluate and develop talent.
Just like Hield was around the 100 area rankings wise, Lattin/Buford are right there.
And McNeace has a super high ceiling as well.

Lattin/Buford are not the one and done guys, but in terms of length and athleticism they are elite. Kruger's going to coach the rest of their games, and perhaps when they are juniors they might be early entry NBA guys.
