Not sure. I don’t remember reading that but I’m not willing to bet it.

I thought the whole case against Lamont was that he was taking bribes and was keeping all the money, not actually funneling payments to recruits.

Correct. I had thought that it was Bribe's to send players to certain agents when they left college. Jeff Carroll was investigated and then cleared to play.
 
CBS is reporting the NCAA expects to notify 6 D1 basketball programs this summer of official investigations into level 1 infractions. They haven’t said who yet. More programs could be notified by end of summer.

I would not bet on OSU getting punished, since the infractions were from before his time there, I believe (may be wrong). But LSU should be one of them!

I don’t think osu will be one either. KU, LSU, Arizona, seem most likely.
