There are a LOT of folks that think 2 extra phone calls a week is pretty freakin' minor. But cheating is cheating. If you don't want a cheater, then you need to be consistent. You lose all credibility when you say "some" cheating is okay.

When did I say some cheating is okay? I said that all coaches at every college and university in the country commit minor violations. They happen. Doesn't make it right, but it still happens. If you want to criticize Capel for it, I expect you to criticize all other coaches for it as well.


And no, I couldn't care less that Capel committed a minor violation by taking his wife on a recruiting visit (wasn't it to visit Scotty Reynolds, who had signed a LOI anyway?). The NCAA doesn't care, I don't either. Big freakin' deal.
