Former UTSA coach (and Ardmore native) dies in crash

Rae Rippetoe coached in the old NAIA District 9 before getting the job at UT-San Antonio. I just heard about this last night, and also didn't realize she'd been recently widowed (her married name was Rippetoe-Blair).

She was a 1980 grad of Ardmore High and played collegiately at OSU.

What a terrible sad thing! Especially, for her parents who lost their son recently. Sending sympathy to the family!
